This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform and website located at https://esync.nakson.services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Store Data: Store domain, access tokens, and configuration settings required to authenticate and operate the integration.
  • Order Data: Order numbers, line items, shipping addresses, payment status, and fulfillment status synced from your store.
  • Customer Data: Customer names, email addresses, and contact information associated with orders — processed only as necessary to fulfil synchronization.
  • Product & Inventory Data: Product titles, SKUs, prices, and inventory levels synced between your store and connected systems.
  • Account Information: Name, email address, password (hashed), and any other information you provide during registration or contact.
  • Usage Data: Log data, IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited on our platform, collected automatically.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the eSync platform and its integration services
  • Synchronize data between your store and connected ERP, fulfillment, or accounting systems
  • Process and complete transactions, and send related information including confirmations and invoices
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests, and provide customer support
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve our platform
  • Send technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+). We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • HMAC signature verification for all webhook payloads
  • Encrypted storage of API access tokens
  • Role-based access controls within our internal systems
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments

While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist in operating our platform (cloud hosting, database management), bound by confidentiality agreements.
  • Connected Systems: The ERP, fulfillment, or accounting systems you explicitly configure eSync to sync with — only the data you authorize.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of eSync, our users, or others.

6. Data Retention

We retain your store data for as long as you have an active eSync account. When you delete your account, we delete your access tokens and store data within 30 days. Webhook log data is retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes. Order and sync records may be retained for up to 12 months to support dispute resolution.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & Privacy Laws)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection: Object to certain types of processing

8. Cookies

Our platform uses minimal cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Children's Privacy

eSync is not directed at children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of eSync after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
